About Bagsværd Lakrids
Producers of the world’s best handmade liquorice caramels. They were GOLD winners at the Danish Liquorice Taste Award in 2020 (Previous winners include Lakrids By Bulow), Bronze in 2019 and Silver in 2018. All products contain a minimum of 5% raw liquorice.
Bagsværd Lakrids was founded in 2015 by fellow liquorice fans (& chemical engineers Søren Beier & Morten Kornbech) with Chef Rasmus Hansen in the town of Bagsværd, Denmark. They quickly gained a reputation for the quality of the handmade liquorice caramels they produce and are now widely recognised as the worlds finest.
Ingredients
Sugar, glucose syrup, condensed MILK, vegetable fat (Palm kernels), powdered raw liquorice, salmiak (Ammonium Chloride), sea salt, vegetable charcoal, Emulsifier (E471), surface treatment agent (Shellac). May contain traces of NUTS
